https://lhcathome.cern.ch/lhcathome/show_host_detail.php?hostid=10453436 The log keeps saying there is no Theory or Atlas tasks for this pc And I know there is since my others are getting tasks. But it is almost 5am and my eyes are beyond blurry trying to figure this damn thing out (yeah been in the Bios) You see anything? Volunteer Mad Scientist For Life |

You see anything? Brand new Win10 machine? Which version of VirtualBox installed? Hyper-V active? p_vm_extensions in client_state disabled? |

You see anything? Yeah I got 3 new ones and the first one started fine after getting in the bios to get threads and Virtualization It has the newest Boinc and VB/EP version. When I first turned it on and installed all the programs it got 2 vLHC-dev's and that is when I knew I had to get in the bios and make those changes and then tried to get new ones there and here and now it just says on the log that there are new new tasks to run. |

Did you check the other 2 possible issues? "Hyper-V active? p_vm_extensions in client_state disabled?" |

I may have fixed it......never had to do it this way but after a reboot I should see if this works NOPE that didn't work either. I went in Start/programs and features/and turned on in Windows Features the Hyper-V (all 3 settings) then did the reboot which was basically a Windows Update but the log here still says the same thing.....no work. |

I think you need to turn Hyper-V OFF as 2 the hypervisors (H-V and VBox) don't play well together. |

I think you need to turn Hyper-V OFF as 2 the hypervisors (H-V and VBox) don't play well together. Well I tried it both ways and the log still tells me no work You would think this Boinc log would say something other than *No tasks are available for Theory Simulation* |

FINALLY I did a clean reinstall of Boinc (and I had to look all over Win10 to make sure I deleted ALL of the previous Boinc) Installed the new Boinc and now it is doing the long install of Theory and Atlas .....those 2 vdi's will take over an hour on my DSL In fact I may pass on the Atlas right now |
