The vLHC credit migration has completed. Please let us know if there are any inconsistencies/issues. Something weird in the Top participants by application. A lot of users have zero credits for the SixTrack application, although they have done sixtrack tasks in the past even before LHC used VM's for their applications. E.g. sorted by Therory average -> https://lhcathome.cern.ch/lhcathome/per_app_list.php?appid=13&is_team=&is_total=0 Example user: MAGIC Quantum Mechanic has for the 3 VM-applications a total of 10,873,399 credits, but on his user page, he has since 24 Oct 2004 11,923,230 -> https://lhcathome.cern.ch/lhcathome/show_user.php?userid=5472 A difference of over 1M. Probably his SixTrack credits. The same is happening with a lot of other volunteers. |

Actually there is an inconsistency. It comes from vLHC project for me. On vLHC project -top partecipants: rank #526, 394k credits -top partecipants by application: rank #917, 122k credits Why is there this difference here? This difference is common for many users! |

Why is there this difference here? Probably cause the credits per application is introduced years after the project started. |

YES CP for some reason a bit over 1 million of my credits should be from SixTrack but the stats page has said 0 for quite a while and I mentioned that a month or two ago here. No idea why that happened and as you can see I have been a member here since the beginning back in 2004 So on the complete stats it does add my SixTrack and vLHC/T4T stats. As you know I have been with all the Cern projects since they started. Volunteer Mad Scientist For Life |

Probably cause the credits per application is introduced years after the project started. I'm vLHCathome member since 6 September 2014 though. Not many years ago. Anyway, should not old credits be added to Theory application? |

Good News! I have found your 1 million credits! They are there in the database but the app id is 0 but the app id for sixtrack is 1. We need to investigate this further before it can be resolved but at least your credits are safe. |

The appid has been changed in the database to be the correct one for the Sixtrack application. Unfortunately that extra data has broken the per_app view as pagination is not working. We are following up on this. |

Is it possible to change our date of joining to reflect we started vLHC several years ago? It will look rather strange to new LHC joiners seeing all those people with over 1 billion MPLOTS in 1 month! I'm totally happy with my score transfer from vLHC. Geoff |

I joined LHC@home in February 2008 and Test4Theory@home in November 2010. Now only SixTrack is running on my 3 PCs, the other programs all fail, I don't know why. Atlas@home runs outside of LHC@home both in multicore and singlecore version on my Windows 10 PC with plenty of RAM and disk space. Tullio |

After this credit migration I got a new project (parasite project in reality) in my project list. The name of parasite-project is vLHCathome, of course, the credits are identical to LHC@home credits. Something needs to be fixed on servers - I (and absolute majority of all users, IMHO) refuse such "gift". |

Hi, Thanks for this wonderful job of merging projects. That's a very good idea and an impressive work. From my side credits seems correct. I had a warning in boinc manager telling me that two projects were having the same name and that I needed to remove one. It was possible to remove it through BAM (Boinc Account Manager). An idea: it would be great if credits could be differenciated upon sub-projects and if we could have badges. Cheers |

Well after a closer look at my account I found a couple problems. This computer is listed twice here in my account (now it is listed 3 times with different numbers) I tried the usual *Merge* and I get this Processing HAL_5771_x Can't merge host 9875004 into 10445616 - they're incompatible Can't merge host 10447575 into 10445616 - they're incompatible Makes no sense because I don't have 9 computers and these two have the same name. https://lhcathome.cern.ch/lhcathome/show_host_detail.php?hostid=10445616 https://lhcathome.cern.ch/lhcathome/show_host_detail.php?hostid=10447575 https://lhcathome.cern.ch/lhcathome/show_host_detail.php?hostid=9875004 It NOW is listed with 2 different ID's AND they both say it has NO tasks running........well it does and always has and is the famous #1 computer that ran all 6 years at T4T/vLHC and has been running here even longer than that. AND on another pc where I run VB tasks and did over at vLHC all 6 years now has LHC twice on its Boinc Manager Projects list. https://lhcathome.cern.ch/lhcathome/show_host_detail.php?hostid=10408099 The other 5 computers I have here seem to be running as they should. All 7 have run the old SixTrack tasks here back before we started VB over on vLHC (well maybe just 6 of them) Volunteer Mad Scientist For Life |

So VLHC@home is gone but there are still two LHC@HOME projects on my computer: LHC@HOME 1.0 http://lhcathomeclassic.cern.ch/sixtrack/ http://lhcathomeclassic.cern.ch/sixtrack/show_host_detail.php?hostid=10418353 AND LHC@HOME https://lhcathome.cern.ch/lhcathome/ https://lhcathome.cern.ch/lhcathome/show_host_detail.php?hostid=10418353 I have both attached to a PC. So VLHC@home is gone but there are still two LHC@HOME projects on my computer: Dingo you need to remove LHC from your Boinc Manager Projects and then reinstall using this URL https://lhcathome.cern.ch/lhcathome/ one you have is right but you either have to delete the old one or both and reinstall with the current URL |

Hi, Just say the truth, are You trolling here? Everyone (thousands of BOINC volunteers worldwide), who at least touched LHC@home, have now disturbed and damaged statistic... This is not wonderful job, this is true pornography! Sorry for brutal tone (I hope, nobody will be insulted personally)... |

The parasite-project is not related to the credit migration but the HTTP redirects from vLHC@home to LHC@home. External sites such as boincstats.com need now to be updated. |

The host migration was a little more tricky and may require some manual intervention. The hosts from vLHC@home were added rather than merged. You should be able to manually merge but where there are issues I can help. |
