Is there any way to maintain some consistency with the sixtrack work units? I really want to crunch LHC but it's rather annoying running out of sixtrack work all the time. Thank you |

Over 390,000 workunits for SixTrack available but client says "No tasks available for SixTrack". Seriously? Are you kidding? Are you interested in our support in getting work done or not? |

The scheduler for some reason reports this intermittently and then sends out tasks later. We have tried to pinpoint the cause of this without success. Earlier today. we reduced the scheduler RPC interval to try to improve the situation following a message in another thread, but this may have been counter-productive and has now been reverted. Please reset your client and press update again if your BOINC client has not managed to pull Sixtrack tasks from the project. |

In my preferences I have selected only sixtrack and ATLAS for crunching. If i select Max # jobs to 10, I usually only get ATLAS tasks and no sixtrack. If I select Max # jobs to "No limit", I usually get 1 ATLAS and 9 sixtrack task. I don't know why it behaves like that. Same happened today when I changed the preferences. |

Got flooded the last days with lot of sixtrack work, but now it's stalled again. I've noticed a lot of WU with runtime of only a few seconds, which then results into requesting lot of new WU in short period, maybe that't the reason for the blockage? Yes, the very short six track tasks seems to cause a lot of load on the server messing with work requests from Nils' comments |

I'll add my voice to not receiving any WU's of any kind, in several days. Have been holding off on other projects, in anticipation of receiving LHC@home wu's, so as to dedicate computer time for them. |
