starting to see workunits being granted credit with one successful result one unknown result with 0 cpu time requesting 0 credit and both of the above results being granted credit that is not among the claimed credits. ref http://lhcathome.cern.ch/workunit.php?wuid=38182 http://lhcathome.cern.ch/workunit.php?wuid=38183 http://lhcathome.cern.ch/workunit.php?wuid=38184 http://lhcathome.cern.ch/workunit.php?wuid=38185 http://lhcathome.cern.ch/workunit.php?wuid=38186 regards Z |

There is a bug (I don't think it has been fixed yet!) in the BOINC core client which sometimes causes it to not report the cpu-time from the last checkpoint to the end of the workunit. Usually this is not a big problem, but when the workunits are short they might finish before the first checkpoint, causing the client to report a cpu-time of zero in some cases! The BOINC guys have been made aware of this bug, and I am sure they are working hard to fix it. /Jakob Pedersen LHC@Home Admin. |
