I keep getting messages that VM virtual box is not installed. I read on here that happens on linux operating systems but my os is windows 10. It way be because I also run programs in boinc from world community Grid. On one computer I have reinstalled boinc with the VM software and didn't connect to the world community grid. Since then I have not received any more notices on that computer that my VM virtual box was not installed. Any help will be appreciated. Thank you. |

If you only want to run the SixTrack application on LHC@home, you don't have to install VirtualBox and may ignore the message "Message from server: VirtualBox is not installed". Please read the forum thread: https://lhcathome.cern.ch/lhcathome/forum_thread.php?id=4031 |

I have not installed Virtual Box because it interferes with an internet scraping tool (DumpCap). PLEASE stop sending me messages to inform me that it is not installed! I only process SixTrack jobs. |

Sorry if these messages annoy you, Bob but unfortunately it's a Boinc thing and not something the project can resolve themselves. |

The message header suggests that it comes from LHC@home server, not BOINC |
