Do you plan to merge credits from vLHC into this project?

I have about 30,000 credits in vLHC and 137,000 in LHC but it seems they are not merged into LHC.

Thanks

I wouldn't mind if they did that since I have almost 10 million over at vLHC and a couple members have more.

The merge of credit will be done once the vLHC@home server stops sending new tasks. This will not be until January at the earliest.

I don't mind whether credits are merged or not but I would like the credits earned on the other site to be noted for posterity as a separate item on users' account pages.
So, there would be a grand total, with vLHC noted separately OR vLHC credits noted separately but NOT included in the existing credits here so as not to "pollute" that figure.

As Laurence says, this won't be done before January so plenty of time for other views.

I have been wondering since we started doing the VB tasks here and have this new stats page if the reason it shows that I have zero Six Track credits if that is because I haven't run any Six Track tasks since this new stats page started?

This is my 13th year here and I have over one million Six Track credits since 2004.

We rarely have those tasks so I haven't been able to run that test to see if that is the reason.

I could argue the same about Sixtrack credits because it was very difficult get tasks in the past. Now someone can get a lot of credits while running VMs and easily overtake great Sixtrack contributors... but I will not do it.

I think it is ok to merge all the LHC credits. Maybe you could keep separated credit counts for every application within LHCatHome, but I prefer merged ones on my BOINC statistics.

Credit is assigned per application and the breakdown per application can be seen in the project statistics page. Total credit will also be provided for the project and this will be used by the BOINC stats sites. As it is difficult to compare credit between different projects or applications, such compressions should be avoided or at least viewed with this understanding in mind.

Oh, that's what I was looking for.

I agree.
