Hello, I'm a member of the Gridcoin community, and we're currently looking into providing better security for our crunchers. According to https://www.ssllabs.com/ssltest/analyze.html?d=lhcathomeclassic.cern.ch, this site has: Certificate name mismatch. Are there any plans to remedy this in the near future? Not fixing/updating the SSL cert will lead to LHC@home SixTrack being removed from the project whitelist, which means it will no longer be crunched by the Gridcoin team. The discussion regarding the whitelist can be found here: https://cryptocointalk.com/topic/29841-discussion-boinc-whitelist-monitoring/?p=221133 https://cryptocointalk.com/topic/29841-discussion-boinc-whitelist-monitoring/page-35#entry223144 |

https/SSL for all LHC@home applications/projects is in the works. A concern is support of older BOINC clients with an outdated certificate bundle. We will come back to this. |

Please try: https://lhcathome.cern.ch/lhcathome/ This server runs a web-front end and scheduler for this project. To use it, please detach fron the project, and re-attach using the new HTTPS URL. The other project daemons still run on the same server as before. The old server and URL will remain in place until further notice. So far our tests of this distributed server setup works fine, and we would appreciate feedback in case of problems. |
