Im new to vbox and have some questions:

I have installed the latest stable boinc + vbox
XP OS installed in vbox

Instruction sais
When you choose VM > Install VMware Tools from the VMware Workstation menu
------------

I cant find any VM entry
Was it already installed at first installation!
How to check

Do I need to have vbox started all time
if I have other projects
or will ex. atlas@home start it when needed?

Many thanks for any good response
