I'm running LHC@Home on windows 7 on a 4 core cpu.

I notice that a lot of recent work units spend a lot of cpu time running csrss.exe and conhost.exe. I suspect that the current Windows sixtrack contains active debugging code that is writing a lot of text to a hidden console window and that this accounts for the extra CPU time.

This is worth fixing.

Thanks,
++PLS

I notice the same thing. Conhost.exe use %5-9 cpu and csrss.exe use %3-7 cpu when starts new wu to crunch and then stop.

Same here, strange thing is that all 3 process together are also not using the full amount of 1 core. Around 50% of the cpu cycles per core are not used. I think the limiting factor could be my slower memory? as my SSD is not doing anything most of the time. Seems like strange behavior to me.
