For want of anything better to do, I was just rummaging around in my task list and noticed something that could be chalked up to idle curiosity. Why is it that some tasks need more than 32,000 CPU seconds to run to completion and validate, while others fly by in 300 or 400? Same computer, commensurate number of wall seconds, pretty much same everything. All of them are accepted as "Completed and Validate".

Just curious.

Good question. It is in fact due to at leat two, or in this
case three, hosts failing and returning empty results which
are identical and validated!! Fix soonest. Eric.
