Hi,

how can I restrain LHC@home to get a maximum of 1 WU for example?

In
http://boinc.berkeley.edu/wiki/client_configuration
it is explained I have to put an app_config.xml into the projects folder in ProgramData. I did this:

<app_config>
<app>
<name>???</name>
<max_concurrent>1</max_concurrent>
</app>
</app_config>

What do I have to put in there(???) ? I cant find a hint. I tried LHC, LHC@home, LHC@home 1.0, SIXTRACK. Nothing worked.

It is working with ATLAS, I just copy and pasted the XML and tried to change the name.

Try "sixtrack" lower case, no quotes. You get it from the client_state.xml file.
Note. This won't stop you from actually getting more than one task but only one will run at a time.

Thank you very much. The "uppercase" is a little misleading in the configuration wiki :D
