From the server status page it appears that you have lots of work available. Unfortunately when I try to down load new tasks I get a server message saying "Project has no tasks available." Furthermore you slap on a "CPU work fetch deferral interval of 02:40:00."

Do you want me to crunch for this project or not?

hello, thats an often mentioned problem. You have to be calmful.
Mostly there are much more users with great computing capabilities which tend to evacuate the server much faster then he status page can be updated.
Just try it every 15 minutes again and eventually you will succeed.

If you have additional computing time there are a lot other humanitarian projects like World Computing Grid, climatepredction.net, rosetta@home. I am participating on 10 projects and there will always be enogh work.

Greetings from Germany
Jochen

To stay in this field of research vLHC@home is distributing work, ATLAS@home seems stalled.

Mostly there are much more users with great computing capabilities which tend to evacuate the server much faster then he status page can be updated.

The status page update, I believe, happens more often than once every 2+ hours. Various computers received work, shortly thereafter I got the "no tasks available message," then about 2 hours later the server still says that tasks were available. I know some projects send out work that is assigned for specific hardware, especially while testing new apps. I doubt this is the case here (Eric correct me if I am wrong).

Just try it every 15 minutes again and eventually you will succeed.

One of the reasons that Boinc uses the "CPU work fetch deferral interval" is to prevent such actions by the crunchers. After my original message, the interval went up to 10 hours...which is the server's way of saying "get lost."

I'd say that the get lost part is an appropriate interpretation.

I have not received any new tasks since 31st August. Since then the event log just shows:

| LHC@home 1.0 | Scheduler request completed: got 0 new tasks

I am assuming that this just means there is no work available at this time.

Mine is more explicit ;) :

06/09/2014 19:13:23 | LHC@home 1.0 | Scheduler request completed: got 0 new tasks
06/09/2014 19:13:23 | LHC@home 1.0 | Project has no tasks available
