I noticed too.

When S@H started doing this, it tanked shortly after. I wonder if LHC is about to go down?

Well i think cause lots of client ran out of work everybody wanted to check the site with what was happening. Then they started creating wu's again and everybody went downloading them. So the servers where on heavy load. Site speeds seems normal again to me!

I had the same problem but then got a new problem at the same time. The work unit downloads I had going were timing out / MD5 checksum errors, etc. Next time I checked, my boinc client started downloading the entire sixtrack_4.45 executable and .tga files, etc. even though sixtrack_4.45 was active and crunching another work unit..

Odd...

I wasn't able to get to the website for about 3 and a half hours.
It's still very slow.

I'm also getting "can't Parse work unit in scheduler reply" "Scheduler reply :()No close tag" "can't parse scheduler reply" in my Boinc updates.

Same with me! Exe and TGA tried to download but failed. Boinc even showed 2 LHC@H projects instead of 1 LHC@H and 1 P@H! Shut Boinc down and restarted - now showing correct projects (after a few seconds delay). Transfer tab shows lots of WUs "downloading" but getting nowhere, plus the exe and tga's.

Edit - have just noticed that I now have LHC@H files in my P@H project directory. Things have really got screwed up! Not sure what to do next.

Also noticed some 5 hours ago that the website gave SQL errors when using the sorting function.

Glad I am not alone. I had LHC & SETI and my seti account had reset and I started an other lhc project. I had to stop this installation and download ,dump all their WU's and re-attach seti.
I lost a lot of wu's because I was downloading some on my good lch account when the server problems appeared, that not counting the seti's wu.

I don't know what caused this, I checked the performance logs and both CPU usage and network usage seems to have been well within acceptable range.
Since I don't have anything better: "I hope that was our one glitch on this trip!"

Hello

Delete the LHC project Files from other project directories.

Exit BOINC and restart

Keep checking the the project directories as any failed downloads will continue to enter these project folders and the project name will chgange LHC

GOTO the beginning

Eventually it will clear up.

THis issue really showed up when the LHC site went stressed.

I hope they haven't connected their NAS/SAN to the common network this will cause major outages during file downloads.
