Because the server counted the tasks ready to send a few minutes before you clicked the link to the server status page. When you checked the server status the tasks were already issued to other hosts therefore clicking the update button did not get any tasks for you.

The server does not count the tasks ready to send every time someone views the server status page. It counts the tasks ready to send every X minutes. It remembers that number and reports that number to whoever checks the server status during the next X minutes. After X minutes the server counts the tasks ready to send again and reports that number for the next X minutes. Between one count and the next count a few hundred tasks can be become available and be issued.

my average total number of executed tasks for 25 units is 20-60 for whole day.
its really nothing comparing to hundreds I had before.
Henry are you new?

say having 20k tasks for 2,3k users? oh 10 tasks per user? I do it in half an hour.

My apologies, I thought you meant nothing is happening with this project in general. You meant nothing is happening with this project on your computers.

Henry are you new?

Henry is a sockpuppet and he is relatively new. I have been crunching this project since 15 Feb 2007.

Wonderful :-)

In half an hour I do 20 tasks.

It's lucky he has a computer that can crunch 20 tasks that way.

Actually I have 50 hosts attached but not to this henry account. Henry is a sockpuppet. I can't imagine one computer that can crunch tasks that fast.
