Hi folks, I am new to LHC@home, but have crunched several other projects. One of my first tasks on LHC returned inconclusive: http://lhcathomeclassic.cern.ch/sixtrack/workunit.php?wuid=9409507 On other projects I have worked on one of the tasks will be marked as invalid if two other tasks are a match and the workunit is validated. Over here I see that the task remains inconclusive. Is there any reason for this (and is an inconclusive task something I should worry about) ? Thanks, Tom |

I should go through, like other projects. I'd worry if all your WU's come out like that otherwise, I'm sure your fine. |

I strongly suspect it's left as inconclusive due to a bug on the server. It simply neglects to change the status from inconclusive to invalid. If that's the case then IMHO it's a rather harmless bug and not worth worrying about. If you get lots of these then of course it means you're returning lots of invalids which is something to worry about. |

Hi folks, if you check status of any previous inconclusive job you'll see third party testing it again. For you its only one job, I had plenty and they are running out to zero |
