Hi there, I was looking back at tasks completed and validated - and don't see any for June, July or August (2013). And, I just don't remember. (must be getting older...) Were these the "Wu-dry" months - or was there a needed reset on the database? Thanks, Jay |

Done WU's are purged out of the database, like in all other boinc projects, after a given time. This is necessary because of performance, disk space etc. |

Thank you! It makes sense to purge the db. But, that said, why are WU from March and May (2013) still showing? Jay PS. I'm quite happy to see an initial deadline of around 10 days - rather than 8 weeks. |

But, that said, why are WU from March and May (2013) still showing?Same thing. My recent tasks got cleaned and only the ongoing one is still there, yet there are 4 tasks from march (7,8,9 of march) that remain. The work unit infos can't be found, but the task info still work, could this be related to the "not enough disk space" problems that were happening? |

In case it help, I will list the 4 results of March still available though the workunit has disappeared: http://lhcathomeclassic.cern.ch/sixtrack/result.php?resultid=14677617 http://lhcathomeclassic.cern.ch/sixtrack/result.php?resultid=14690110 http://lhcathomeclassic.cern.ch/sixtrack/result.php?resultid=14690382 http://lhcathomeclassic.cern.ch/sixtrack/result.php?resultid=14692129 |

Uploads aren't! What's the problem? Pick I just came here to report a server error on uploads. My BOINC event log is telling me: LHC@home 1.0 21/10/2013 20:39:48 [error] Error reported by file upload server: can't open log file '../log_boinc05/file_upload_handler.log' (errno: 9) |

In case it help, I will list the 4 results of March still available though the workunit has disappeared: Since the last posts went off topic, I'm re-quoting what I said before, since they're still there.I think those things might cause bugs or slowdowns, so I'm keeping a worried eye on them. |

But, that said, why are WU from March and May (2013) still showing?Same thing. Since there's not much activity on the forum, let's have a little fun about a minor issue: Happy Birthday bugs! 1 year old already*.We are so proud of you. Most BOINC items in a similar list wouldn't live that long...could it be you are the only ones.Great for you! Anybody got a cake? *Ok, maybe it would have been better to wait for tomorrow, but I was less busy today. |

Happened to me too, http://lhcathomeclassic.cern.ch/sixtrack/forum_thread.php?id=3735#25517 I think it is related to this http://lhcathomeclassic.cern.ch/sixtrack/forum_thread.php?id=3729#25475 Every workunit that was not purged or validated at the time of the update, remains in the Limbo, forever or at least 50 years. |

First time I have become aware of this problem. We have some other rather major issues but I will see if we can't just clean by deleting "old" entries. Thanks. Eric. |

Well my birthday is 19th May; 9 years retired biut still a volunteer. If you spot any clues as to why the transitioner missed these tasks, could you pass them up the line, please? These isn't the only project with orphan ancient tasks clogging up the database. |

I think, as suggested, we lost the WUs. Nobody know what to do with these results. I'll check with my expert and I'll try and learn enough SQL to delete things older than say six months.......don't know if it is possible, but I'll try. (I have a few really important issues and it is tough single handed to keep on top of everything, excuses, excuses, excuses...). Eric. |

Wow, almost forgot those bugs, but they are still here, now 3 years old. On others forums, I bump christmas or new year topics, but here, that's my yearly little excentricity xD (though I was late this year (should be 7/8 of march). I'm just preventing this to be forgotten, no need to answer. |
