This project tends to go in burst of work so don't stress that there isn't any.

It can often be a few weeks between blocks of work.

Any info on what the latest round of work units have been about? Are they just re-runs of old ones?

I have no direct knowledge but all the ones I have had yesterday and today were created yesterday and today so I take from that that all this new work is indeed new.

Well hopefully we'll get some info since they're putting up so many. Shame there's no screensaver though, it was always my favourite.

Another bunch of work this weekend with quite a few longer c.20hr ones thrown in.

Shame there's no screensaver though, it was always my favourite.

There was a problem around the time of switching to Boinc 6 where the graphics and science programs were separated but starting the graphics crashed the science prog. so it was removed. Don't know whether new graphics are on the long "to do" list but I agree, they were quite pretty.

Work, Work, Work, Work....

WOW!! Lots of work in the pipeline. Is this all new work or a rerun of previously crunched numbers?

yeah, your Pentium 4 chip is a bit behind the times, and that may be an understatement.

I am running LHC@home and Test4Theory@home on a 2007 vintage Opteron 1210, with other 2 BOINC projects (Albert@home by Einstein and Astropulse by SETI). I have also installed a Solaris Virtual Machine running SETI@home 6.03, but it is now out of work since SETI has been upgraded to 7.01 and I don't have an app for Solaris. I am 78.
