It looks like the server has no WU's available anymore now. Best greetings from Belgium |

It looks like the server has no WU's available anymore now. Mine has run out of work also, no WUs coming from LHC@home. Computer is sitting idle. Steve |

I am running Test4Theory@home, Einstein@home, SETI@home, Albert@home and QMC@home besides LHC@home and am never out of work on my 2 Linux boxes plus a Solaris Virtual Machine running SETI@home.I have a BOINC client by Dotsch on Solaris but there are very few Solaris apps available, a pity since it is a powerful OS. It looks like the server has no WU's available anymore now. It's a good idea to participate in more than one Project as there is no guarantee that a Project will always be able to pump sufficient work to the clients. I run SETI@Home(cam be kind of chancy since they have some server issues), Einstein@Home, and Test4Theory@Home (a spinoff of LHC@Home using the Oracle Virtual Machine as a virtual Linux "box" under BOINC running CERN application). Generally, this combination keeps me busy. SETI is down right now so I have them Suspended just so BOINC doesn't keep hammering away trying to find work that doesn't exist. Tom |

With 2631 taks ready to sent (when I start writing that, probably will have changed by the time I post), it is "back in business" here too. |

With 2631 taks ready to sent (when I start writing that, probably will have changed by the time I post), it is "back in business" here too. we'll see...i have yet to get any of those 2631 tasks, and currently the server is telling my hosts that there are 0 tasks to send... |

well some hosts definitely got some work, b/c even though "tasks ready to send" is back down to 0, "tasks in progress" went from ~300 to 36.721 over the past 5 hours. hopefully this is the start of things getting back up and running... |

I got 12 tasks on my one host that was still set to receive just so I knew tasks were there so I could set up a couple others but I see there are no more at this time........server says a bit over 25,000 are in progress Volunteer Mad Scientist For Life |

Hi there, I have tried to get WU during December. No luck. Can I assume, from the previous posts, and server status, that there is work being generated - but it gets snatched up rapidly? Server Status as of 12/17 at 8:38PM Eastern Standard time: Tasks ready to send -------------- 0 Tasks in progress --------------- 901 Workunits waiting for validation - 2 Thanks!!!! Jay |

no, work has not really been generated regularly for almost a month now. there are quite a few hosts out there w/ older CPUs, which is why the total number of "tasks in progress" dwindles so slowly. there was a test run of tens of thousands of tasks that went out a week or two ago, but those got snatched up before any of my hosts noticed. the current "tasks in progress" are the remainder of that test run. who knows when another batch of test units will get sent out, let alone when the problem will get fixed. in the mean time, i'm crunching Einstein@Home on the CPU and just waiting for LHC work to become available... |
