Hi, did anyone else try to run Boinc 7.0.28 on Ubuntu Lucid Lynx? My current version is 6.12.34, it runs very well. |

Is 7.0.28 a repository version or a Berkeley version? The reason I ask is because one of the 7.0.x versions from Ubuntu repositories has a bug. Sorry, I don't remember for sure which version has the bug but I think it might be 7.0.28. If you tried to run it and had problems then that's likely why. On SETI forums there is a discussion about the bugged version and advice on where to obtain a good 7.0.x version. |

It is a Berkely version. The boinc manager didn't start, it always missed some librarys. I think the highest possible version on Ubuntu 10.04 is my current 6.12.34 And for a higher one I would need 12.04 . But maybe someone else has tried boinc 7.0.x on 10.04, so I asked. |
