Hello crunchers, I finally know why my files won't upload. F-secure is the trouble-maker. When I remove it the files to LHC upload imediately. When installing it new everything works fine, with F-secure. Then f-secure want to do an update, it does the update, and then it is trouble again. Strange thing is that Einstein@home works all the time f-secure or not, new or old version. Has anyone else the same experience? And does anyone to know how to solve this? I can buy McAfee as that worked for years trouble free, but I get f-secure for free with my internet-connection from my provider. Thanks for the help. Greetings from, TJ |

Thanks Toby, I have tried that but it is not working. I have also tried to turn the firewall (f-secure) off and that doesn't work either. Only complete removing f-secure does the trick but that is not a good option. Greetings from, TJ |

I thought it was an anti-virus problem from your inital message. You should be able to allow BOINC to some sort of ignore list. I don't see that there is any difference between allowing something and un-installing it. Try rasing a support ticket with f-secure, it's a strange problem, somehow there software is blocking when is shouldn't. |
