If the graphical window is opened and the F5 button is used, the graphics are frozen.

If waiting a few seconds, the graphics are starting over again in a normal way.

Made on purpose ?

F5 is the commonly accepted 'refresh' key. It seems this is what it does in the LHC graphics as well. Whatever happens during the initial 'measuring performance', is repeated when you hit F5, essentially 'refreshing' the display process.
