I am curious. What do you see in the future regarding Six Track? I am very interested in this subject. |

Well right now we are adding some new "physics" for the LHC upgrade studies. SixTrack is highly optimised for the LHC studies. The more general program for design studies is madX, MAD for Methodical Accelerator Design and X for Version 10. Various ideas are floating around e.g. make SixTrack a module of madX. I have lots of ideas but right now am too busy to make a plan and anyway I will follow the wishes of the Accelerator Beam Group ABP and the BE Department. As I understand it, and I am not an accelerator physicist, the future lies with a Linear Machine e.g. CLIC. I am not sure what programs are used for the Linea Collider studies. |

How about an application for smartphones/I-phones and all those? My BOINC-manager say: project:LHC@home 1.0, shouldn't it be 2.0? |

How about an application for smartphones/I-phones and all those? I think that is Test4theory@home. Tullio |
