Ik have repeatedly this problem:

When i look: the servers are not down!
Other programmes - like cosmo(at)home make connexion, there is communication.
What can be the problem?

Downloads are working fine. I just got three new tasks. I have a long list of uploads waiting though.

for me too / and in addition 'not requesting tasks: too many uploads in progress'

Same problem here. I have more than 70 results waiting to be uploaded. Other projects connect without problems and deliver their results. Retry does not help either.

Maybe the following is irrelevant, since I haven't had any upload problems recently but FYI: I went offline a few wks ago to reformat my PC and re-install W7 SP 1 64-bit OS. I came back online on Oct 21 and ran a few LHC tasks, but for the last few days haven't gotten anymore & I've updated LHC a few times and have received the same response everytime: LHC@home 1.0 Not requesting tasks: don't need
I'm also running Einstein@Hm, MilkyWay@Hm and Rosetta@Hm, (24/7, one of my few spendthrift habits) and presumed whatever doles out tasks decided I didn't need any from LHC at this time. Or they didn't need my PC to work on any. Whatever. Anyways I haven't noticed anything in the Event Log indicating I was having any problems with LHC tasks, which in my case tend to be mostly short ones - just like most of the Rosetta tasks I get (a few hrs or less in most cases)
