The BOINC server hosting the Sixtrack project will be unavailable for about 1/2 hour tomorrow Tuesday 20/9 13:30 CET for an intervention on the server.

This implies that the forums and project web-site also will be unavailable during the intervention. Thanks for your understanding and welcome back soon!

Greetings, Nils [LHC@home server support team]

Sorry, this operation took much longer than expected. The server is up again.

Are you sure it is back up?

I am unable to upload results as it says the Project servers may be temporarily down
This has been going on for many hours.

I have a 17 hour WU and many smaller ones to send back and don't want to lose them (even if I wont get much credit for them (credit here is way too low)).

Conan

(edit:- strangely this problem appears to be only affecting my two Linux machines, can't confirm Windows as I only have one WU left and it will take another 5 hours to finish, only since the Tuesday Server work)

I can not upload too.
Server status shows OK for all of processes, but I got messages:

The server status page shows the upload/download server is up and running. Try the following URL in your browser and see what you get:

http://lhcathomeclassic.cern.ch/sixtrack_cgi/file_upload_handler

I get:

<data_server_reply>
    <status>1</status>
    <message>no command</message>
</data_server_reply>

which I think means file_upload_handler is functioning properly.

I get the same, but several (NOT ALL) hosts can not upload!
I see connect() failed again and again.
Panic mode is on.

Did you put http://lhcathomeclassic.cern.ch/sixtrack_cgi/file_upload_handler in a browser on the machines that cannot upload?

Have you tried rebooting the OS?

Which hosts are ok and which have trouble by client version, is it a particular version client with the error ?

Hosts Ok - from 6.2.19 to 6.12.33.
Hosts not Ok - 6.2.19 and 6.10.18.
Upload problem disappears after restarting of BOINC.

Mine were Linux and both machines required BOINC to be restarted, only affected LHC, no other projects were affected.
