LHC@home 2.0 is on its way. We are in beta, with about 2000 people. There is a great article at

http://www.interactions.org/cms/?pid=1030964

We need all of the help we can get to make this a stellar project. There are great and very serious people attached to this project, scientists, I/T people, administrators.

We need as many people as we can get to scale this up.

The url for the project is http://boinc01.cern.ch/

Yes. Very interesting as it is a progressive step forward in using distributed computing resources rather than a closed grid.

I just became aware of this through an article: http://www.theregister.co.uk/2011/08/12/boson_hunt/

Test4Theory Beta has reopened for additional participants. This is a Project in BETA Test so you should be prepared to tolerate some growing pains.

Project information can be found HERE.

Participation is by invitation only and you can request an invitation HERE.

Participation is limited so as not to overwhelm the worker bees (who are very busy and doing an outstanding job).
