I see the home page says:

Project Registration Suspended
Due to technical problems registration to LHC@home has been indefinitely suspended. Sorry about this.
We are working on an upgrade which will let us re-enable the account creation but the timeline is not yet completely clear.

It sounds like a crisis occurred, especially since the site was down all weekend. (I wonder what the backstory is, that it resulted in new accounts being stopped. Somebody being naughty, I expect.)

Anyway, thanks for the heads-up, Alex, and good luck with the fix.
