Approximately 24 April I received a Sixtrack task. It completed successfully and I received credit for the task which was showing in my profile until the last couple of days. It has disappeared from my profile. I now have no record as having run this task. What is the explanation for this. http://lhcathome.cern.ch/lhcathome/results.php?userid=129171 |

That is standard procedure. Every project does it. Completed tasks stay in your profile for a while and then they are deleted. The credit for the task gets added to your total. The reason they eventually delete records is to keep the database down to a reasonable size. If they kept every record forever, database operations would become very slow. |

Thank You, Why I asked is because I still have several tasks from 2008 that show in my profile. The action is expected in other projects. It is perhaps the lingering tasks from 2008 I should have questioned. Just glad to do what ever little bit I can. |

The tasks from 2008 are stuck there due to a bug in the program that is supposed to remove the task records. |

Really? I\'ve crunched a 100+ WUs today and all of the \'long\' ones (about half of them) awarded the right sort of credit. The other half were only a few seconds and awarded 0.03 or similar, which would be about right. This batch does seem to contain far more beam-crashers than recent ones. Perhaps they can\'t control those 14 TeV beams ;) Al. |

It must be a luck of the draw if you gets tasks. I got 2 from the last rain fall 9 Jun 1 errored out because I forgot you can\'t open the graphics, otherone ran for just under 30 minutes & gave me 12.84 credits. Have A Crunching Good day |

Well I have been here pretty much every day for almost 7 years so I should get a couple credits just for that Volunteer Mad Scientist For Life |

Great tasks here today. But it probably only ran for a few seconds. If you want credit, you probably need to go to some other project. I would suggest PrimeGrid or WCG. |
