I was running the test task (a bit more than 17 hours runtime), I was waiting to finish, last 5 minutes.. I clicked to the graphic window button during this waiting. And the task stopped with calculation error. I hope, the 98% task and the 17 hours runtime wasn\'t for nothing. |

I don\\\'t recall how much of my WU had been completed, but on a whim I tried to pull up the graphic and instantly the computation stopped with the same error message you got. I was quite irked mainly because it was only the second of two WU\\\'s I had received once I installed the new version of BOINC. Does anyone know if this is a bug in the BOINC platform? I\\\'m afraid to try to pull up the graphic on my SETI@HOME project. After spending hundreds of hours on an ASTROPULSE WU, I\\\'d really be peeved if I lost it to a \\\"calculation error\\\"... |

See other thread on the subjet Do not show graphics... Questions? Answers are in the BOINC Wiki. Boinc V6.10.56 Recommended WinXP C2D 2.1G 3GB |

There is a warning on the LHC@home home page about this problem. An update dated May 10 says that version 4209 of SixTrack should resolve the problem. Being a Linux user I cannot confirm or deny. Tullio |
