I have had some WU’s with a very long running time. Now five in total, two done with results and two with compute error after a long run. Number five is crunching now and has done 31% in approx. 12 hours. Still 35 hours to go.
Is it wise to let this one run out or will it result in an error too?

Greetings from,

If it looks like it will complete before the deadline, I would let it run. Work is still pretty scarce, and the worst thing that will happen is that it will error out and be reissued to another machine.

Sorry, but Your question is a bit curious, because:
1) You computers are hidden;
2) You are asking what to do with Your task without link to this task.
1 + 2 = recommendations are impossible. ;-)
We can not see - which task, which type of CPU etc.
