A bird dropping a piece of bread onto outdoor machinery has been blamed for a technical fault at the Large Hadron Collider (LHC) this week which saw significant overheating in sections of the mighty particle-punishers subterranean 27-km supercooled magnetic doughnut. The Register tells the rest of the story. NAGILUM |

From Time Magazine... Did a Time-Traveling Bird Sabotage the Collider?. Plus, a great series of photos starting HERE. |

I can believe it! My car got egged by a bird flying overhead this morning...and with it parked in the sun it was a caked on mess when I found it. |

So this bird is sent back in time to bomb your car, too. Maybe he missed his intended target the LHC. But the real question is who has this technology to send pigeon bombs from the future, and what about a PARADOX? The very fact that someone sent a bird back to do the dirty work of sabotage means that sometime in our future the LHC experiments were(are) successful. Otherwise why send a sabateur to prevent something that never occured? Maybe the Higgs boson is actually discovered somewhere else. NAGILUM |

Once you accept this fact then accepting that a pigeon has been time-transported back from the future to keep the LHC from going on-line is easy. |
