I would like to have a 3-D Application that shows the LHC in operation with schematics, part names and functions so as to simulate the machine at work. Does anyone know of such a program? There must be one at the LHC? That way I may show students from the 16-116 age group how it works along with a hypothesis and expected or, unexpected results. That way I will be able to recruit more interest in the project. The persons who dole out the grants are influenced by spouses/friends who are influenced by students of their own. Even their children. That is how a great deal of influence flows. Maybe we can increase funding for Science of all disciplines, LHC, NASA, etc. It would be a cool Program to run/watch. TO GENERATE MORE RESEARCH WE NEED MORE FUNDING. Any ideas?
