However, the article does not even mention LHC@home as a part of the LHC computing grid. Instead, the latest Amaldi conference held at Columbia University had a presentation and a poster on the Einstein@home results in gravitational waves research. Maybe the LHC scientists should follow the road pioneered by Eoardo Amaldi in the search for gravitational waves. As a matter of fact, he was one of the founding fathers of CERN. See his biography by Carlo Rubbia on the LIGO home page, scientific collaborations, Amaldi conference.
