Thank you very much, I think I can live without the graphics. However, how about the strange feature, that the time estimated for processing the wu is counting up for hours ? Any ideas, or should I simply ignore it? Lugal |

Probably just a bad initial estimate. BOINC should correct it over time, but considering how often this project actually has work ... (of course, I\'m hopeful that with the coming server upgrades and everything, the scientists will be able to throw some larger quantities of work our way) |

Thank you very much for your hints. Let\'s keep fingers crossed. Nice day |

I just want to have some work... Just send some old workunits around to recheck the data from the past... It\'s frustrating that we don\'t get any/some work. I try to get something constantly, but no luck... Or do you have a alpha test fase that does have work? |

I notice you work on several projects. A good idea, if you have not done so already, is to set the resource share of LHC@home really high. That way, when there is work, Boinc will scoop up a lot more work units to try to balance out. |

Any word on the server upgrade from the QMC guys? I imagine you\'re all very busy with the 7TeV collisions coming up on March 30th, but ... |

Nice to hear. *thumbs up Perhaps much more support in the future? |

Looking forward to doing some SERIOUS LHC@home work! |

Been a long time, too long. Nice to hear. When you need help for coding or so, say it. I´am a physics student in Heidelberg, and have to write my Diplomarbeit in 1 or 2 years, so perhaps we can work together ;) And when not for this, i could use the work perhaps for a training that i have to do in computer science (hardware and software). |

Been a long time, too long. Bigmac, to recite a line from a popular '60s song (and various remakes) "You just keep me hanging on." |

Have you tried for CERN as We have lots of Prof. that work for LHC Projects and so also much Diplomarbeiten for LHC projects. |

Dear bigmac: This site (and project) is dead. It should have been allowed to die with dignity, but here it is, a testament to the horrors of medical science. Beam tracking? For real? How patronizing! Fortran? Why not build a Babbage-style mechanical computer? I used to program in BASIC. I used a Commodore 64 and an Apple II. I was a master of DOS. Now I\\\'m a grown-up...I\\\'ve moved on. All of this needs to be burnt down. Bury the ashes, and the shovel with them. I\\\'m sure this will be perceived as hateful. It is not. This message is a simple instance of Newton\\\'s Second Law. LHC@home has acted...and I am reacting. See ya. Wouldn\\\'t want to be ya. |

I have to respectively disagree. The project has a heart beat albeit very weak. Small amounts of work flow occasionally recently. The boards work but are operating on a deprecated version of the BOINC server software (why this version was installed no one really knows). The good thing is that Bigmac has hinted at lots of work to come...now can we believe him? |

I have been seeing some work squirted out over the past couple of weeks or so. Just finished a 10 hour task yesterday. |

I just checked four machines I have on this project. All had WU\'s in the last two months and completed all of them successfully. Please check out my blog http://sciencesprings.wordpress.com http://facebook.com/sciencesprings |
