http://www.engadget.com/2008/10/06/worlds-largest-computing-grid-lives-to-go-live/ The worldwide grid that looks at the collider data gets turned on. \"The Grid combines the IT power of over 140 computer centers, 100,000 processors and the collaborative efforts of 33 countries\" I'm not the LHC Alex. Just a number cruncher like everyone else here. |

\\\"World\\\'s largest computing grid lives to go live\\\" Hmm.... That is not true. BOINC is bigger |

Yeah, you are right -- too bad BOINC doesn\'t have the PR budget to blow its horn like that ... If I've lived this long, I've gotta be that old |

Is BOINC out of service?. I cannot connect neither to it nor to SETI@home. Tullio |

Is BOINC out of service?. I cannot connect neither to it nor to SETI@home. In the SETI forums was a thread about routing problems. Looks like there was an issue with the http connect. For me the SETI and BOINC site works in the moment. |
