When you have trapped antiprotons.

1. How do you know how many antiprotons that are stored in the trap at a give time?

2. How do actually know that it is antiprotons that are in the trap an not electrons?

There are two ways:
1. Measure the electrical charge. (Even \"static electricity\" occurs at a certain \'electrical charge level.\')
2. Measure the mass- weigh what you have.

2. How do actually know that it is antiprotons that are in the trap an not electrons?

Electrons have a certain mass. Anti-protons have a certain mass. For any given \'electrical charge level\', compare the expected mass to the actual mass...
