Hello,

is there any software which could visualise (in realtime) the number crunching my computer is doing for LHC@home?

Unfortunately the LHC screensaver doesn't really have anything to do with the analysis your computer is performing so the answer to your question is "no"

I imagine it would just be a particle going around a big circle... unless the work unit errors out in which case I would expect a giant explosion :)

Well the LHC screen saver does show you how far through the wu running at the time is through that particular wu.

\"Turns calculated\"

Like the one I have running on this pc right now.

616,000 turns out of the 1,000,000

Perhaps they can\'t show it in case it generates a black-hole and swallows up the internet.

Why couldn\\\'t take google earth, maps, CAD software and create a sick 3d animation. Those of us with nikce graphics would really love it.

Especially the explosion as the beam burns a hole in the wall of the LHC ...
