Greetings.

I\\\'m running an Intel Q9300 at 3.5ghz, Vista 64 with 8gb of DDR3, and dual nVidia GTX280s in SLI.

I understand these preform very well in the Folding@Home realm, has anyone managed to get a LHC@home client functional on GPUs?

Thanks.

first off, I dont know....

ive been looking for some time now. its obvious that GPU far surpass CPU when it comes to number crunching. Without buying a CUDA we\'ll just need to wait for AMD\'s Shanghai.
I hope a software upgrade comes soon!

GPUs only surpass CPUs in special circumstances. They are getting better though. Some of the new ones can actually do double percision floating point math to the iee spec.

I am also interested about this issue. Actually I am running on 4870 X2 and support from ATI Stream or somehow installing CUDA on ATI would be really greatfull for xxx@home calculations

I\'m also interested in that. A\', already participating in a World Community Grid, which loads my Q6600 pretty much completly, yet my 8800GTX is not used.
