And the latest Batch even increased that List for me...

It's really time for the admins to clean that mess up, that should also help merging/removing all those pesky duplicate/obsolete hosts.

Just checked, against initial suspicion they're all 0.01Cr Results, so the Pending table indeed did not increase. Still alot that needs to be fixed...

Normally speaking, completed tasks and workunits are purged from the database a few days/hours after the last task is returned - that's true of most (non-Beta) BOINC projects, and it's true here for non-trivial tasks.

But here at LHC, if a task is 'trivial' (lasts less than a second, claims 0.00 or 0.01 credits), the validator and transitioner fail to do their jobs. The tasks remain "pending", wasting your database space and our browser screen space.

My oldest comes from WU 1811321, and I have 386 of the pesky things.
