I'm getting the following error on both my windows and linux machines when trying to grab some work thats shown as available...

4/28/2008 7:29:35 AM|lhcathome|Message from server: Project encountered internal error: shared memory

I assume this is based on the up/download servers being disabiled...

Data-driven web pages hepboinc Running
Upload/download server hepboinc Disabled
Scheduler hepboinc Disabled

But there still shows 16,558 work units left to be sent out ?

Is the normal for this project ?

Just Courious.

Thanks

Normal, don't worry.

Plus, it's a server-side error, so it won't affect your machine.

Whatever it was cleared up, as both machines got work now.

Thanks

It hasn't ... it also has not reported yet.

Even it it does not get reported, and you don't get the credit ... the good news is that the science is in the upload that does not need the database server ... :)

I know, not good news for you though ...

Anyway, this can be a common problem with "smaller" projects with tight constraints on the servers and limited staff ...

We just have to wait and they will stroke the server and we can then report the results ...
