Wow...33k+ running, another 25k+ in the pipeline! I don't think I've ever seen so much work stacked up. Looks like a lot of fat WUs, too :-D

Hopefully this will revive interest in the project until the official start-up which I understand to be scheduled for June.

Actually, I think many of the 1,000,000 turn WUs (which would run 5 hrs on my machine) simply "crashed the particles" in the first 1000 turns or so; this is normal for some work units. I noticed that none of the 100,000 turn WUs (30 min on my machine) crashed the particles; they ALL ran for the full 100,000 turns.

Ta-ta!

On my machine it's the opposite: the 100k ones often last few seconds, the 1M ones "crash into the walls" only seldom

I just got a lot of download errors. :(

Edit: (ah I see the upload/download server is disabled for debugging/maintenance. This explains that, and possibly vice versa)

According to the server status page, the upload/download server has been disabled for debugging/maintenance every single time I've looked at it since I joined the project three months ago - even when the work has been flowing freely in both directions.

I'm afraid another explanation is needed.

Edit - PS likewise the scheduler.

There was a recent post to the "..Project rarely has work" sticky thread that I found amusing. Click here to read it.
