how can I limit the number of task my PC download from the project??

The only practical way to lower cache is to change the value in 'Connect to network about every xxx days'; but this will effect all projects and cause more frequent connects.

You could try lowering the share value. If it is set at 100, try lowering it to 50. But this has the effect of doing less work for the project.
