I am using an Intel quad core and have been with SETI for over 10 years. Up until LHC came along, nothing else interested me. My question is this: Should I leave my new run times at 50/50? Or should -- due to the perceived lack of LHC work available currently -- my run times be set, perhaps, to SETI 80; LHC 20?

Enquiring minds need to know. :]

Welcome aboard Gypsy Dick,
The resourse share you give is really up to you and depends on how much you want to support each project you do. I have LHC set to 4X Seti so that when work is avaiable here my computer concentrates on it more. A sort of feast-and-famile thing. I do as much work as I can here, when I can, but am happy to do other work elsewhere when none is available here.

Attacking the secrets of the universe from the other end of the scale is Cosmology which might also interest you.
