hello

i have some problems to get work from the server,
every time i ask for work,the server says:

message from server:platform windows_x86_64 not found.

is this because there is no work or mis i a file or patch, i run windows professionel x-64 software,does anybody know this problem.

OK when did you get this error? Just now or the last time you polled the server i.e. before today?

Up until today we have not been configured for 64Bit clients but we sorted that out today hopefully. Can you poll the server again and tell me what message you get now? It should be:

11/10/2007 18:03:19 | lhcathome| No work from project

There is no work BUT you should not get the platform windows_x86_64 not found message.

thank you for answering,

this problem of sending this message,came from the server came immidiatly
after downloading the project,and answering for work,i tried it a couple of times, i subscriped end of september,the only thing i can think of that this project is running 32 bit by it,s self,i read a little bit on the
message bord.and saw that,
some other people seem to have,difficalties too and people use code,s but is it save,anyway ,the computer says only this line i talked about.

I just tried to request work and received the usual platform windows_x86_64 not found, so the 64-bit doesn't seem to be working yet.

No one here is running 64Bit Windows so can't test it. I will get on to the 64Bit Linux issue on Monday (in pure Dante Hicks style "I'm not even supposed to be here today").

neason,i got this news:

today friday i get wu,s from time till time,

i run a dual core opteron processor from amd 64 bit,together with windows
professional 64 bit,it works okee,with my einstein and seti project and i hope
also with lhc i get some work,so i think it,s alright now.

for futere time i am planning also a linux server on this site,this works,
much and much faster,than windows,there is a lot of information about this but what is right,to make a match for a top computer,me myself am waiting for the
intell xeon quad processor,next year,you can download 64 bit windows for free.

Working on windows_64 now. Thanks for making the change. Now I can get back into this project!
