'course it's necessary! Please do it ASAP! And, sure, please give us more WUs! May be you have a kind of other science tasks to solve instead of LHC calculations? :-)

It would be a waste of time to "add the platform" but keep the old code... They should just upgrade instead of "fixing" (ie. working around) problems one by one, that have already been fixed on the latest code. I'd recommended to upgrade every week, and LHC's code is a few years old!

who cares for the code if it works, add 4 lines of xml and you got a load of hosts that will be able to get work again. GREAT VALUE !

It also seems that the projects that updated frequently had less problems with the updates. This may be a false perception though, since I think only SETI updates frequently now.

Neat o.

I'm not the LHC Alex. Just a number cruncher like everyone else here.

I need this platform, too.

Please add it as soon as possible!
Even if it just sends out the 32Bit application.

I got 1 WU before the system went berzerk and the WU finished within 1 second. I hope this isn't the client as it's going to cause a lot of grief otherwise.

Agreed. Please just add the few lines to xml so I can crunch again... With me LHC is set to highest priority among the BOINC projects, still I won't get any tasks due to absence of few stupid xml lines :/

Ehm, sorry, it seems I am crunching LHC again... Though with 2 units/day I never notice since it gets crunched during the night and in less then half hour.

Thank you.

64Bit windows was added before the most recent activity and it is NOT simply 8 lines of XML, that's what it may look like from the outside.

I'll try and get 64Bit Linux added today if I can.
