when do you make projects compiled in 64 bits, for VISTA x64 ? (cause i'm BOINC x64, with CPU x64 core2duo) but there's no many projects compiled in 64 bits!
With projects in 64 bits, data will be calculated 2 times more quickly.

When they update the server software it will automatically start sending 32bit apps to 64bit clients.

Even with a real 64bit client run times will not change much on this project, and most others. Most of the BOINC projects are heavily dependent on floating point calculations and the FPU did not change significantly between the 32bit and 64bit CPUs. I think ABC was the only notable exception, it gained about 60%. There are plans for a CPDN model that will only run on 64bit machines with 8GB of memory sometime in the future.
