Hello All CERN Crunchers,

I wanted to just make a kwik comment about the new web site design: It looks GREAT! Very nice, very clean and very functional. The "Account" page on the old site always made my eyes go wonky because of the color scheme but the new one is very E-Z on the old (and I do mean old) peepers.

It seems that it was a looong time coming but GREAT JOB!

PS: Now if we just had some work units, that would be the topper! ;-)

Because gray text does not show up well on a blue-gray background, the time-date information takes some effort to read. White would provide better contrast with the blue-gray beckground. The white headings would also contrast with the black text for the body of the paragraphs.

Otherwise the new LHC@home website is all go.

The width of the site doesn't seem to adjust to the widt of the screen. For people who use low resolutions (like 1024 * 768) it can be a bother to keep scrolling left and right to read the forums or even the main page of the site.

Thanks

This has already been reported in "The new look bugs" thread in the Number Crunching forum. It seems to occur when your browser has cached the old CSS file. Pressing F5 seems to have cured this for most people.
