Message 17303 - Posted: 9 Jul 2007, 4:38:36 UTC - in response to Message 17026.

That problem was discussed in this thread.

The thread you referred to doesn't address the problem I'm having with that message.

I can detach just fine from LHC@home. When I reattach with the new URL, all is fine, for a while. Eventually, however, a duplicate LHC@home appears in my projects list and I start getting this error again:

2007-07-08 21:23:01 [lhcathome] You are using the wrong URL for this project
2007-07-08 21:23:01 [lhcathome] The correct URL is http://lhcathome.cern.ch/lhcathome/
2007-07-08 21:23:01 [lhcathome] You seem to be attached to this project twice
2007-07-08 21:23:01 [lhcathome] We suggest that you detach projects named lhcathome,
2007-07-08 21:23:01 [lhcathome] then reattach to http://lhcathome.cern.ch/lhcathome/

What I had to do to get it to stop coming back was to go to my Boinc folder and delete every *_lhcathome.cern.ch*.xml file that did not have _lhcathome appended to the .ch part of the filename.

So far, that has kept the duplicates from popping back up. *crosses finger*
