It's not a bug that is a list of all hosts active in the last 30 days which since the project hasn't been sending data means you see none of them so click "Show all hosts" or click here Actually, I'm not referring to the page that shows either "All hosts" or "Only hosts active in past 30 days". And for what it's worth, I do see several machines listed under "Only hosts active in past 30 days". When I click on one of the duplicate hosts, at the bottom of it's page, there is a link to "merge this computer". Unfortunately, the resulting page doesn't list any of my machines. I don't think it is limited to LHC@Home, but this is the first project where I noticed the problem. Does anyone know if it has anything to do w/ one of the Boinc clients? ![]() |

It's been explained somewhere about the duplicate hosts not merging, just can't recall where. I do know there's a thread on 'ghost' hosts - check that one. As far as I can remember if the slightest change is made to a machine (ie add memory, 0-clock processor, winxpsp2, etc) OR if you install different Boinc client (which would classify the same processor differently), then the computers will not 'match'. My solution: if they don't merge, I wait for the results to be '0' and then just delete them. If recurring ghosts - search for that thread. Hope that helps ... the forums are a great resource, if you have time to search through threads you can usually find the answer somewhere! ![]() ![]() |

I tried to add an avatar to my message board preference, and when I hit "update info" it came up withThis is still happening, I still can't upload an Avatar and I am getting the same error message. DOUBLE TRUE! ...this "Fatal error: Call to undefined function gd_info() in /srv/httpd/lhcathome.cern.ch/lhcathome/html/inc/image.inc on line 7" has been giving me a rash for a long time now. Come on, it's probably just a few lines of code. I'm losing hair over this. Come on, it's probably just a few lines of code. Nope. It's 0 lines of code to touch. It's just an extra module they have to install, which depending how they have PHP installed in the first place, could be really easy. |
