It happens.

You will get some eventually.

You have to be in the right place at the right time.

So the move has been made and the system is up and running. Alex is ironing out some tiny little bugs and we are waiting on some jobs to run. Neasan thinks he has finished the new look for the site and forum and that will go live soon once he's happy with it. We know it's frustrating waiting for WUs to crunch but we are happy that soon the drought will be a flood.
As always thanks for hanging on in there.
Alex and Neasan

Bring it on

Here I wait, Looking for work. They say the drought will soon be over and yet I still thirst.

I wish I may, I wish I might, have some LHC to crunch tonight.

Glad to see the progress, look forward to getting back to crunching for the project. Would love to hear more updates on the status of the upcoming work.

I'm a newbie -- only joined in the past week -- and note that there are no work units coming down the pike to me. Is this a common occurrence?

Thanks for your quick response. I thought maybe I'd done something wrong.

Finally got my first WU's in the past three days. I'm used to it, especially due to a combination of:

The front page reminding everyone that work 'May Not Happen' for long periods.
Seti@Home conditioning me to Work Outages.

Hello! Just signed on to this project, and was wondering if anyone knew when WU's will become available. Any ideas? Thanks in advance!

Well, that was short lived! Got some credit, crunched some numbers. Peaked my interest for more! Now I know that when the WU's are available, I don't have to go looking, they will be downloaded automatically. Bye for now! Here's a site if you're bored and want to donate some food to the third world: www.freerice.com. Costs you nothing, improves your vocabulary, and feeds the hungry!
