I still have a pending credit.
I really don't know how long it's there.

It will stay there until it will be deleted forever. You will not get any credit for that.

All the other results have their credits granted and the result files have been removed from the server, so you will end up with nothing. Sorry, man!

In the interests of cleaning up the database, I have noticed that I still have 2 pending workunits from the 30/4/07.
All others who worked on these workunits also are still waiting.

thanks Conan.

Still, now would be a good time to clean up the database and sort out the pending credit and wus waiting for deletion.

Also have 12 WU's with pending credits, only 1 of those actualy has a value of 36 the others are on 0.0.
But it seems to me these could be pending for a long time, if they are not removed before they start sending out new work.

In total not a huge amount of cobblestones but they have been pending since the end of April and it would be nice to clean things up in preparation of getting any new work.

Thanks

I have a few dozen of these "ghosts" dating back to July 2006. If everyone has a few of these, that's quite a few floating results that probably need to be purged.

I still have hosts that were retired as early as 2005 I can't delete from my hostlist due to pending results, either from my own hosts or others.

I agree - time to clean up the database. I got WUs from April which will be pending forever.

Once the test batch is over, it's time to tidy up!

WU's pending are not the only problem. The number of results and workunits awaiting deletion is enormous. This is preventing everyone from deleting hosts that are no longer active or will not merge.

All in all, a good general housekeepping is in order.

Good point about the hosts.. I don't have any extras right now, but I got a boatload of ghost WUs in my history!

Time for housecleaning, I agree!

Yeah I would definitely not complain about clearing out some dead wood... heck I would even be happy if they just cleaned up the results that were in the database before the transfer from CERN took place! I have some ancient hosts that haven't run BOINC in 2 years that are still listed here and I can't delete them to clean up my cross-project stats :(

While current (completed) results seem to being purged after a few days, good results that are months old are still hanging around.

I have some from 2005.

Also, pending from this last run, as well as April 2007, where there was a credit claim of 0. (marked as "pending").
